Homeschool Science Fair

“Celebrated every 10 November, World Science Day for Peace and Development highlights the significant role of science in society and the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. It also underlines the importance and relevance of science in our daily lives.”

In our own way, we should embark on scientific learning for the good of humanity, and to better the lives of people in our communities. Within the homeschooling community, we start really small – with our children.

When our children learn about science, how it works in every day life, and how they can use scientific thinking to solve problems, it is an opportunity to celebrate. Small steps form the journey to bigger milestones in life. When we care for our children and celebrate where they are at, we are raising confident learners who will one day, appreciate and support the role of science in the contexts of their lives.

Aims and Objectives

  1. To encourage interest in science and engineering
  2. To provide an educational experience for the participants
  3. To publicly recognise the child’s creativity and achievements
